PBC are thrilled to welcome our newest starter, Nate Lobel.
Nate a dedicated and motivated Fire Engineer with over 8 years of experience. He moved from the USA to Australia after completing a research project on bushfire risk communication methods in Melbourne. Since then, he has worked on city shaping projects throughout Perth, Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney across a variety of industries.
Nate has hit the ground running at PBC. He’s already represented PBC in the industry - speaking at the annual Fire Australia conference, and working on some exciting new projects.
Nate believes that safety not only forms the basis of Fire Engineering, but that Fire Engineering design goals should be holistic - considering function, form and sustainability, as well as compliance. As such, Nate is particularly interested in how Fire Safety can integrate with other disciplines and strives to incorporate this into his projects and collaborations.
Nate also has an aptitude for learning. He is constantly researching and consistently speaks at conferences and events on his findings. He also takes on a role in skills development for the team, organising regular CPD sessions and mentoring the younger generation of Fire Engineers.
